JBN was born from a need and developed through a passion. Swedish sound engineer Jan B. Näslund, in fact, often encountered sound reproduction problems in venues where live music was played because the sound from the stage propagated through to nearby residences and commercial structures. Seen increasingly as a problem, Jan recognized the need for a solution and developed a new and innovative way of producing sound, developing the JBN Sound Ceiling system, which he began producing and integrating into clubs and bars around the world.
